Congratulations Lisa!

A big congratulations to Lisa Salter who is shortly to start her new job as Manager, Kaipara District Libraries.  Lisa says that she should be around until the next SLANZA AGM so we have her for a bit longer.

Lisa, we don't want you to leave us but we are really really proud of you for stepping up into this new job and we wish you all the best.

  1. Just thought I'd relay this message from the school library list serv by Bridget Schaumann, President SLANZA, onto our blog here too:

Lisa you are going to be so missed on the school library front!

Lisa is the Communications Leader for SLANZA, she is the driving force behind much of what you members out there see when you see SLANZA. We are hoping to keep her for a little while longer in that role (a lot longer would be ideal) . Anybody who has met Lisa will have noticed her awesome good humour, her winning smile and her great ways with people, we can see why she has been snapped up for a very important role, and I know everyone in SLANZA and the wider school community will wish her all the very best for her new adventure in Public Libraries and will know that she will be flying the flag for schools, school libraries and the people who work in them in the LIANZA world, to anybody who will listen.

Lisa leaves her school library in great heart, she has created a wonderful space for her students and staff and they will miss her terribly. Those who have attended her presentations at conference on Annual Reports and more recently on sure fire hits for readers will know that this is true.

The very best of luck to you Lisa, may your new job be full of awesome and thanks so much for all your input - not that I expect it to end - into this community.
