Your SLANZA committee is delighted to announce that Michelle Simms is coming up to Northland next month for a PD session. This is a great opportunity for all library staff. Michelle will present her Gamify the Library
session, which focuses on what gamification is - not about video games, rather the game mechanics and concepts that engage people being utilised in an educational environment. In additional sessions after morning tea, we’ll be picking Michelle's brains on online tools and genre shelving.
Please register with me, Julia Smith, and consider whether you would like lunch at the venue - soup and bread, prefer to eat in town or make your own arrangements.
